If Salford have any marketing savvy (I know debatable) we will be putting free coach travel, tickets will be £10 each and if anyone at the club has any gumption at all we will be offering tickets to FC for peanuts in the hopes they turn up and cheer for Salford relegating the old enemy.
This week and this game in particular there are no gloves never mind them being off.

Something else I don't really understand the GF is at Old Trafford regardless of who wins the semi finals so why is the MPG not at OT or a neutral venue?
Would be a much better day out for all concerned if both the GF & MPG were on the same day.

Mind you, how silly are we, asking the RFL to market something to the fullest extent possible?

Walne put on report for head tackle. He got away with another earlier in the game.

I'm a fan of the Walnes and what they add as good squad players but I'd not let him anywhere near the MPG as he'd get targeted by them for penalties, pretty sure Sheens knows he is prone to them and he'll have been on the phone all week giving a few titbits.
Hauraki, BMM, Flanagan and Lannon would be as far as I look for the back 3. Not been the biggest fan of Hauraki but get the feeling he would handle the pressure pretty well. If Campese is playing I'd run everything at him hoping his made of Digestive body doesn't hold up.

Great to see that the club are putting on free coach travel to Hull.
Is anyone feeling optimistic about our chances on Saturday? We got tonked by them in the Middle 8's a few weeks ago, but both teams are inconsistent and for me its a coin toss. We did finish above them in the regular season but since then our form has been pretty bad to say the least.

Walne put on report for head tackle. He got away with another earlier in the game. Walne banned, Peacock not? And what are we to make of those two facts?

That Walne has previous and as Peacock has come out of retirement all previous indiscretions are forgiven.
In other words it stinks.

I'm terrified for Saturday, I'll be in Germany playing golf in the afternoon and having your phone on is strictly verboten meaning I'll have to find out the score at the end of my round.
That said might be better for my heart than the undoubted roller coaster experience it will be for everyone else.
Salford what are you doing to me!

So we'll probably learn about it at the same time!

I will be watching from Gran Canaria. Plenty of cushions available to hide behind. I'm hoping that the team just clicks like it did against Saints earlier in the year.
