Itβs not happening- not enough time to sort things out apparently. Gareth Walker has done a report on it.

Pretty pi$$ed off about this. I booked flights and accommodation based on someone within the club telling us the friendly was "nailed on".
Was gonna book 9-10 days in the Canaries as well for some winter sun... now I've got to spend 3 days in Valencia which will no doubt be a ghost town in early Nanuary. Even more annoyingly there isn't a guaranteed Valencia footy match to go to that weekend as it's Spanish cup weekend.
Anyone else book flights based on "a reliable source"?π

I'd swap with you SS. A few relaxing days in Valencia sounds just fine to me.

This is why the club has missed out on a few ST sales, last season (like this) I've not bought (despite in 2018 buying 2.5 but only using 1) a season ticket as I miss to many games when things are moved around.
I appreciate that most of it is down to Sky but it's still a factor for many.

So MR, youβre happy to buy 2.5 season tickets when you can use more than one. But youβre not happy to buy 1 when you can only get to 0.5 to 0.75
Thereβs nowt like logic π

Off the top of my head it was only a few and all towards the end of the season. Maybe because of the uproar each time (justified on a couple of occasions) we think more were moved than there actually were?

I've got a commitment every other Friday so I just buy when I go. Probably better for the club anyway.

If you did watch football then you would have cause to complain.

If you did watch football then you would have cause to complain. The thing is my mate was told by someone senior within the club that the friendly was "nailed on". So either my mate was bullshitting me or someone within the club was jumping the gun. It's frustrating. As a fan what do you do? Wait until something gets formally announced and run the risk of flight & hotel prices going up (which always happens) or book based on someone in a position of authority saying the game is agreed and announcement will be out shortly? Anyway, it's done now. I'll probably skip Catalans away now due to extra costs of Valencia so will just have to wait for Toronto for the next jolly.ππ
