Apparently and Allegedly Paul Rowley and Ryan Brierley seen in Cafe in Manchester centre this Afternoon Chatting to each Other with a load of Paperwork being studied?? The person who saw them was 100% sure, Could It be Something to do with A Money Dispute from Toronto or something else. Do we really need Brierley??

I'd take Brierley yes, there's a whiff of the GOB about him so potentially an extra option in the halves and the potential to cover for Evalds at the back.

Better ways to spend our limited budget

Yep agree with Bonita, would be pointless. I think we're done for the moment but may look to strengthen an area which needs it during the season

Good support player. Poor organiser. Bad defender. Overall, not up to Superleague standard in my eyes so, no thank you.

Or could it have purely been the fact that Rowley was coach of Leigh when Ryan was there, Rowley then took Ryan from Leigh and signed him for Toronto.
Ryan was probably in and around Manchester training with Leigh
Cory Paterson has just opened a new Coffee Shop which is where the alleged meeting took place and who again was a former player for Rowley at Leigh and Toronto.
think this is probably just the meeting of friends in a friends new business venture

Wasn't Rowley Brierly's agent at one point?

Yep agree with the majority. Not Super League standard and never has been. Decent support player and that’s all he’s got in his locker.

I'm indifferent. Would have him as back-up but that's about it. Not that I think he's coming anyway.

Thats 20 players they’ve signed now and not much quality in there. It might be a long season for them.

Probably be One shining Turd in a pile of Dung , Shaun Kenny -Dowell But Will a Winger who's known for his injuries and Dislike of Tackling and on a massive salary, Really be what they need.

He's been a great player, Kenny-Dowell, but he's on a pension top-up. I'm not sure that an ageing Aussie winger is what they need either. They need HB's, otherwise SKD will be getting chilly stood out on the wing in February at Wakefield, wondering what the hell he's done...
