I don't know the site at Salford City's ground too well, but is there a potential for Marwan make a deal to throw some investment there to develop it over the next few years? If not I can't think of any other alternative to the Barton project, unless it's joint venture with Swinton (that doesn't seem to be gathering momentum). What do you think?

Apparently Swinton looked at playing there this season but it doesn't meet the RFL requirements, hence they are now playing at Heywood road. It's a great location but not much in infrastructure.

Getting more than a little hacked of at this.
People are bleating about getting to Barton when there are buses aplenty head there and then some are saying share with Swinton when they get their new ground, not entirely an expert on the public transport infrastructure but pretty sure there are more buses going past Barton then up Hilton Lane.

Isn't just about location though is it? We pay a fortune, earn no money from food / drink, we're second fiddle to sale. Sort all that out, make it a bit more like home, and all good.

Totally agree. We are where we are, it's not going to change and the club has bigger challenges, starting Sunday !
