I know people who purchased last year. Not in the position to myself. I know it's about giving to the club but the packages are far poorer this year compared to last. I think the club has missed a trick and done this poorly. Those people are not renewing are there is little to no value. At least last year there was a Magic Weekend shirt for the 2nd package and one with a serial number and name for the 3rd package

But it should be about helping the club to recruit and retain talent, not what freebies you get for it.
Yes, it helps sell the deal but keeping the club alive is more important to me than the freebies.

I noted it is about giving money to the club, but there should be some value. Compared to last year it is very poor; they were making plenty of profit last year, why change? The most expensive thing was a shirt, which wouldn't cost the club anywhere near the £50 RRP, or the Magic Weekend ticket for the Platinum fans. The offer has taken a massive backward step, marketing wise that isn't a good thing. £250/500 is a fair amount of money and you don't even get a shirt, which I can't imagine costs the club much money.
Also, why are people charged more for direct debit? (I stand to be corrected if wrong, as I haven't checked this myself and was told by my brother). A fan is pretty much donating money to the club and the club charges them more for using direct debit. That's ridiculous.

I have my own misgivings about the squad builder thing so I'll not chime in.
But the DD I'm pretty certain is more because of the charges imposed by the company running it.
Last year it would have cost you £100 on top of the £500 platinum membership.

I’ll be buying again, wasn’t fussed about the freebies last year as I don’t wear shirts anyway.

They’ve added free subscription to RDTV this year (dont know how much that is worth yet). I’ll be buying again. The freebies are nice but I do it to add more funds to the club. It is a lot but i think it is needed so I’ll carry on for now

Would help massively for those who live at the extremities of the UK or abroad.

I don’t do squad builder so I’m the last person to have any right to chirp, but I do buy a couple of season tickets but see less than half the matches,so that’s my contribution. Squad builder is surely not about the freebies,or how much profit the club makes on it. I applaud those who contribute and I can’t believe anybody does so on the basis that there’s a free shirt. Contribute or don’t,but let’s not talk about the ‘value’ of contributing except insofar as the club and the team derive that value

I’m in the squad builder precisely becauseI can only make a third of the matches owing to work. I don’t get value out of a season ticket, so I choose to support this way. Don’t need freebies, just want to support.

If people are gauging the squad builder on the freebies they get then they dont understand the concept of it. It’s to get a player or players anything added to it is a bonus. I will be doing it again, if we get another Joey then it’s well worth it.

If I’m being completely honest I’d rather the costs of the free stuff just go into the club.

At one of the fans forums they asked the question how many signed up because of the benefits involved, and no one put their hand up, which has probably lead to it being scaled down for this year. I'll be doing the middle package again regardless.
One area they maybe miss a trick is not making the DD payments over 12 months IMO. A lower monthly cost to the fan so more might sign up, and income all year round. Although they probably want the money in earlier if it's going to the squad which is understandable.
