I was just logging on to say the same. He’s completely unplayable in broken play.

I'd say that Tonga are now 2nd test test nation, GB look woeful and JH doesn't stand out the same when surrounded by better players.

Tui showing GB how to boss the HB position. GB have the man of steel, but only use him on the left. Widdop on the right and ineffective. Neither organising. Coote awful. Lomax should have been on from the start. I think GB suffered from too many cooks and nobody really got a grip on the game. Hodgson was left to call the shots, but it all looked a little disjointed. Too many silly errors cost field position.
Not great from GB.

The right team definitely won that. Forwards were bossed. Lolohea was superb. Hastings never got a chance behind a beaten pack. Bateman the only GB player to come out of that with much credit.

Shows again how a dominant pack is essential in RL. Tui did really well as he was basically the only half back Tonga had.
In the first half his pack was so dominant it allowed him to run the show behind them. Hastings and Whiddop had no chance.
Second half was more even in terms of forward play and Tui much quieter and Jacko had a couple of runs. GB looked like a team that hasn’t had enough time to gel. An out and out prop at 13 meant that only 2 of the 5 key play-making positions (whiddop and hodgson) have played together before and it showed with how little we created when we were more on the front foot

Jackson Hastings game is based on a dominant pack but also he has to be running everything. Widdop and Hodgson were competing for who’s running it. I don’t think he’ll change it,except at full back and possibly one of the wingers although not sure whose in the rest of the squad. I’d replace Widdop. Tonga fully deserved it

Apparently Warrington have offered Widdop and Austin for Lolohea and Brown plus £200k

Given that Gildart being the only official centre is injured, does this raise the possibility of Jones playing centre against NZ next week? Dont rate Connor there and we would lose a lot of Batemans natural game by moving him wider.

The squad that's been picked is shocking, if Hall is still 1 of the 2 best British wingers then the game is fudged, Regan Grace should be there for starters.

Apparently if it's Widdop Austin and Myler it's only £150k in cash.

Very strange team picked although hall actually did ok today safe a houses under the high ball. And he's a big bugger as well like having a third second rower on.
