Aspey? He’s playing for the Foundation under 19s. I thought he meant that kid Hastings, had a bit of promise but needed work Dumped him on Wigan, don't think he'll make it. Aspey sounds good tho.

Plenty of players up for grabs then, you can guarantee the Yonner SL teams will be picking over the bones already.

Shame. Hopefully the players find a spot with other academies.

Paul King confirmed last night that the A team will be made up of players from a variety of teams
There will be the academy kids that are ready - named 2 so not sure if they were just examples or if that was all of them
First teamers not in the squad for that round or returning from injury
Hoping to link with a local lower division team - Oldham, Rochdale, swinton - nothing confirmed yet but got permission to do it. Swinton might not happen cos of their problems
They can have 2 amateur players on trial (champ and league 1 clubs can have 7 but SL only 2!) so will include them
Other players
ST helping to fund. They are looking to raise £40k. The trust confirmed they have raised £3k in the first 3 weeks for the A team which is prettt impressive
I’d encourage everyone to get involved and help them raise some cash
