Haven’t we already covered that as we don’t own the stadium the club has limited options for expanding the matchday experience? I’d love some decent and varied beer/food trucks outside the ground but it’s up to the stadium owners (both to allow it and agree with each supplier) and we’d make nothing from it.

Exactly. I believe the catering at the stadium is contracted out. The club have no say on the food and beer

I have to agree with MR and Tony 13 . I just hate that term match day experience. I forget how old and engrained in the past I am. I just hope half and half scarves or jesters hats never appear 😀😡

how sure are you loyalred? Obviously I can’t be 100% certain as it hasn’t been announced, however from what I’ve heard, the worth of the company and the sponsorship after the grand final with them it makes a lot of sense.

As an occasional attendee due to my living abroad, (and as the Prediction Champion), I find the home games at the AJB a good experience now. Possibly even better that The Willows. A drink at the pub outside the ground beforehand, curry and chips on the forecourt, a programme and on to the game. What could be better?

Yeah I’ve got no issues with the match day experience. Wish there was a bar/pub on site which is open fairly late but that’s about it.

As someone who probably isn’t your usual rugby league fan, I think the matchday experience is pretty terrible and unlikely to appeal to any neutrals/new fans. We rely on the rugby to entertain people- it works for me.
Pretty much everyone who goes to Toronto raves about how they do things - obviously they needed to do that right as nobody knew much about the sport.
As mentioned though- replicating that just isn’t possible for us.

I wonder how much it has brought in to the club?
It can't be any worse than Mitsubishi, surely?

I'd be amazed if it was as bad as Mitsubishi. Let's hope the sponsorship is a prelude to further investment by a local.

I was wondering whether ged mason may be wanting to help by investing/supporting the club financially as well (i understand he is co-owner of sale)

I was wondering whether ged mason may be wanting to help by investing/supporting the club financially as well (i understand he is co-owner of sale) You'd think that's Bleases endgame, very much depending on if this year's run brings forward a continued improvement next season. I've long said having 2 rugby teams playing at the same stadium need as close a relationship as possible. A prime example is over the last couple of weeks I've seen a van locally driving round with an LCD display to both sides on back advertising a product, Salford and Sale buying the same set up could utilise it year round and when the seasons overlap simple each club get a side. Might even be able to punt it to incorporate other companies to fund the costs of fuel, insurance and a driver.
