Now we all know that SRD are prone, like an old black and white silent comedy film, to increasing amounts of falling over due to judicially placed banana skins but Serious About RL fancies the London Broncos to win. Now I've goy a lot of time for the Broncos, when they're not playing Salford but putting them on as favourites seems to be strectching it a bit. Given the results and the way things have gone in the competition I can't see why that would be the case. Of course the Red Devils could turn up thinking it's an easy win .......

Nothing but a continuation of last Sunday will do this weekend, all out attacking RL to try and make headway into the 50 points difference in the standing between Hull KR, Huddersfield and ourselves, you can assume Hull KR will increase their points for significantly as they play Featherstone, Huddersfield playing Leeds gives us the chance to significantly recoup (and hopefully pass) the difference. Next weekend for once plays into our hands with Hull KR & Huddersfield playing on the Saturday, we will know what exactly is required, Hull KR should go into the weekend on 8 points and if Leeds continue with the form they have shown so far and beat Huddersfield this weekend they will have 6 the same as ourselves. Meaning if we beat London and Batley we need Huddersfield V Hull KR to be a tight game with a narrow Huddersfield win, if we go on a scoring spree in the next two games we'll all have been shatting ourselves for nothing. HONEST.

One thing I forgot about last weekend was how often Sa'u made a break looking to offload to his winger who wasn't backing him up, for me revert to GOB as starting fullback, Lui to SO and Evalds outside Sa'u. Evalds certainly knows the way to the try line better than Griffin and his backing up is significantly better.
AND VARY THE KICKING GAME & KICK OFF OPTIONS FFS.

You think our kicking game is acceptable also our metronomically predictable kick off option?

It's odd that the final games of the Middle 8s aren't played at the same time. If we go in to the Batley game knowing that we need X amount of points difference to finish third it will make for an exciting afternoon of rugby.
On Saturday I hope we come out all guns blazing... we don't want a repeat of our trip to Bradford Bulls last season. London pushed Leigh close and it's by no means a given, but if we come out with the right attitude we will be fine.

If the Aussies say that's how you kick off, then the English coaches follow suit

If we were as accurate with everything we do as a team as we are at finding the half back with a rampaging forward winding up near him with each kick off we'd all be booking tickets for the Grand Final.
Sadly we're not though.

We could do with winning by a big margin tomorrow to give ourselves a glimmer of hope in clawing back the points difference against Batley.

How weird is that looking in hope at points difference as our salvation?

Pavlovs Dog, we just assume the worst when we hear the first hooter rather than drool at the sound of a bell.

We must be favourites for for the doomiest and gloomiest fans of the year award.
