Mason has kindly agreed to do a Q&A session with this Forum.
I've suggested to him that the questions come straight from everyone on here, so if you've got anything you'd like me to ask him... fire away!
I'll leave this thread open until this evening before submitting the questions to him.

What are your thoughts on the Brough tackle that has put you on the sidelines? (Diplomatic answers accepted )

As a youngster you started out playing union and then switched to League. Do you ever see yourself switching back, and which do you enjoy more?

Who's the best and worst trainer at the club?
And Does this Vidot actually play and train or just takes selfies all day?

Does he prefer living in London or Salford? How is it having World Cup winning coach as director of rugby? What are main differences for the players from last season to this? does he have a favourite try he's scored for us?

As you came to Salford as a centre and bulked up this pre season do you see yourself ultimately as a centre or winger? And have you ever played any fullback?

A huge thanks to Mason for taking the time out to answer these questions...
1)What are your thoughts on the Brough tackle that has put you on the sidelines?
It's obviously really frustrating especially after just returning from a lengthy injury. I don't think it was a legal tackle but there's nothing that can be done now. I'm just focusing on rehab getting back on the pitch as soon as possible.
2)What's your 100m time?
I’m not sure, its not something I’ve timed in a while but I get asked this question a lot so when my ankle is healed I’ll time it and see what I get.
3)As a youngster you started out playing union and then switched to League. Do you ever see yourself switching back, and which do you enjoy more?
I'd never say I wouldn't. But it's not something I'm looking to do at the moment. I'm enjoying playing league and want to make more of a name for myself in this code.
4)What is Ian Watson like as a coach?
One of my favourites coaches I’ve had. Very approachable and easy to talk to and has a geninuine interest in helping the players improve everyday.
5)Who's your fave player to play alongside?
Don’t have a particular player in mind but it's always more enjoyable playing alongside players who are also good mates as you know your they'll have your back and put in the effort when games get tough.
6)Who's the best and worst trainer at the club?
There isn't really a bad or lazy trainer at Salford this year. There's a good work ethic at the club and it's also a young squad so there's loads of competition.
7)Does he prefer living in London or Salford?
London is obviously my home and where my family and friends still live but I am enjoying living in the north at the moment and have settled quite well here.
8)How is it having World Cup winning coach as director of rugby?
It's been massive in shaping the club over the last year and also things on the field. So it's helped a lot to get us heading in the right direction.
9)What are main differences for the players from last season to this?
There are a lot of differences from last year, training days are run differently so our time spent at the stadium is efficient. We do more things as a team which has helped bonding which I think can be seen on the field.
10)Do you have a favourite try that you've scored for Salford?
My first try for Salford on debut against Huddlesfield
11)As you came to Salford as a centre and bulked up this pre season do you see yourself ultimately as a centre or winger? And have you ever played any fullback?
I’ve played more game as a centre than winger in Super League so am comfortable in the centres but enjoy playing on the wing and feel I can make more use of my speed in that position. Though because of injuries in the last year haven’t had much game time on the wing.
I've played fullback during a game when we got struck with a few injuries and I would like to play fullback one day as you get a lot more space and opportunity in attack.

This is the sort of thing we need. Would be good to try and get Sheens, Watson or the Doc.

Thanks Bandgeekmafia for sorting this and thanks to MCB for taking the time. I've always liked MCB and think he has bags of potential to be a really good SL player. Here's hoping to a speedy recovery so he can get back into contention.
