Just wondered if anyone else had the unfortunate experience of turning up with a valid ticket purchased from the club, only to find that entry was not allowed. I and 5 members of my family were turned away and told to go to the ticket office (the other side of the ground) in order to discuss with them. I wont go into the whole scenario, but I was left fuming that I had queued at 6am on the Sunday morning after the Wigan game, to get tickets where I wanted, only to be shafted into other part of the ground on arrival at Old Trafford.
Whilst I`m on....if any of those that thinks its funny to throw beer bottles from the upper tier or anywhere else for that matter I just wonder how many brain cells they actually have. You are pathetic to say the least.

Just a terrible place to experience RL.
My friends daughter came with us and as she had a handbag he was made to go to the other side of the ground to hand it in to a knuckle dragger in a portacabin - the thing was the bad was empty but they still made her do this.

You are pathetic to say the least. My only disappointment yesterday was the behaviour of some in 233, I’m sure most were not regulars at AJ Bell, Hey ho a smashing day and a great effort by our team. I believe we would have beaten any other Superleague team yesterday. They didn’t need the performance by an inept weak match referee,

Just wanted to say well done to the Fans in N43 for such restraint, a so called Saints fan was off his head on drink/drugs and got abusive about Salford so Salford fans moved him to the end of the row away from a few handy and angry Salford fans. A great effort, I just wished we'd have scored at the Salford end to see the roof come off. A great day, poor referee and the best team won

I know fans like standing up but how does that work for kids and those who physically are unable to stand for a whole game. Sorry, lads,if you buy a seat then sit in it

I was in 233, didn’t see any trouble. What went on? I enjoyed the old Trafford experience. Stewards I met were friendly enough. Was pleased everyone stood as it improves the atmosphere (but I understand why some might not be pleased and would have sat if the anyone in front us had done)

Nobody would sit down because the person in front was standing. We had 2 young kids and a disabled lady in our party and their day was messed up. Its ok saying you prefer it but it’s crap,to be honest. Apologies for being on my high horse but it’s just a shame for those affected.

There were some right numpties near us in E234 unfortunately. Two who could barely stand up they were that p**sed, and one who thought it'd be a good idea to stand on his seat for the entire first half. They seemed to move away from us a bit in the second half which was a relief. Saw a few beers being chucked, and it looked like there was a bit of fighting as well towards the front of our block, but couldn't see properly what was going on. All the idiots seem to come out when it's a big game unfortunately.

I know fans like standing up but how does that work for kids and those who physically are unable to stand for a whole game. Sorry, lads,if you buy a seat then sit in it Unfortunately, the standing up scenario has a knock on effect. Like someone points out if the person in front of you stands up etc then it forces you to stand up and so on. I took my 81 yrs old mother who sat for all of the game and probably only saw the back of someone stood in front of them..I am not blaming those that stood as the majority had no choice, but this element should have been policed by the stewards who did absolutely nothing to assist or deal with. Like you I felt sorry for the kids etc and it spoilt the day for me, as well as the club providing `duff` tickets causing issues delaying me to get into the ground. I was in Block E235 and unfortunately my wife took a bottle on her left shoulder, thrown apparently from the tier above. Good job it didn't hit her or my mother on the head as we had probably been looking at something more serious. I understand every club has numpties but its down to us `the good guys and girls` to point them out and deal with it with the assistance of police/stewards

Bang on. Need to change our groups seat location when we’re there again next year, because the same numpties will still be standing and throwing beer bottles.
No chance of the stewards taking on the whole of the East end

No chance of the stewards taking on the whole of the East end They do at United games (well they used to when I went), it’s pretty straight forward get the people at the front to sit then the rest have no excuse and will usually follow suit. Re the idiots, although it ain’t great to have any bearing in mind how many extra fans we took to our usual I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the lack of incident, I had visions of Widnes in the semi v cas a few years back but 99% of the fans were impeccable

If you say anything you just get abuse.

Yes same with me £40 for a Ticket and having to Stand Can't understand the attraction of Having to Stand for two hours. Wasn't helped by Two stewards at the top of E234 Stairs who weren't the slightly bit intrested in moving people from the Stairwells with caused loads of people to fall over them , I believe it was the Same area that the Man Utd Supporter fell and Died from his injuries earlier in the year.
