Yeah with 5 years down here and a year in Oslo, complaints about prices up north don’t really worry me! I was in Norway with work years ago and it was about £9 a pint then. I hate to imagine what it is now. Two weeks ago It cost a relative a €13 =£11.50 for a G&T In Helsinki Finland !! I'd cross that place off Places to go, In Denmark it was A £5 for a bottle of Carlsberg And that wasn T even in Copenhagen It was in Billund a 100 miles outside of the capital |

I think we are heading straight to the quays, it will be rammed and wouldn’t be my venue of choice, but going with kids/old uns so best bet it think. Also probably less busy than bishops and Trafford.
Don’t really care where we go pre game, for the first time probably ever i’ll be in OT a good hour before kick off to soak it all up

Very few boozers near OT and the ones that are there are hammered and crap.
I always drink in town then get a taxi on Deansgate which drops you off at Warwick Road 5 mins from the ground.

Does the train to Old Trafford still leave from Central Station? I've been away from Manchester for a while. 😲 there was a gravy train on there a couple of weeks ago but I think it's left now - not sure they would have welcomed reds on board either  |

That train stopped about 10 years or more ago.
Tram to the Toll Gate is best bet.
I’m in a Taxi cheaper and easier
