And MK who apparently put in £5.5M, then bought Hastings last year, so maybe he should be feted as well. Not his biggest fan but when we had no half back or hooker last year, with whoever in charge and facing relegation, he saved our bacon and laid the foundations for success this year. A great gesture that could have saved the Club and started our success this year.
So ...who actually should get the biscuit...as Watto says it was a team effort, so fighting for leading the team out...who takes the credit? Perhaps, as a Community Club....??
I always find it strange that people fight for recognition...everyone plays their part in some way, every fan, every player, etc.

Yes John will be there on Saturday with Elaine & Grandchildren.
Its his first live match of the year.
I just hope he returns next season to watch a few more but the problem is he has no time for Marwan.

JJR I don’t think anyone is fighting for recognition to be honest - it was just a few fan/fan account tweets aimed at the current leadership that I was reacting to. They did reply to a couple as well (saying that it’s Watson that leads the team out anyway on Saturday). As you said, most are too humble to ask for that sort of thing anyway.
Glad JW is attending. I’m sure MK will attend as I’ve seen him at a few games this year.

No problem LR. But to react to Twitter, why even be on it, it's for 12 years olds who can't express themselves in more than three words of one syllable.
At least on here people do try and put forward reasoned arguments.
Just enjoy the match mate and thank everyone who's played, put money or time in, attended a match, or done whatever to get the Club a chance to be in the spotlight and give us a chance to enjoy a very special evening.
