It’s not like it’s a robbery that Coote is in at fullback - very good player who’s had a good season. Had a big influence on the team that ran away with the league.
Hurrell at centre however is a different matter- cracking runner but has butter fingers, can’t pass or defend and has terrible positioning. I saw him pass into touch twice in one game!

Yes, the Hurrell one is puzzling. So is Ash Handley. Would have thought Grace or Marshall may have figured.

I agree with you there - went for Grace myself but Handley did score a lot of tries and did have some good moments.

Had to have someone from Leeds in the team, it’s compulsory.

Just to add that Hurrell has the second highest error rate in the whole league apparently! Will take me a while to let this one go.
They need to get a more diverse range of people on these panels. Maybe mix the big names who have played for the big clubs with so called lesser known players who can see the game from a different perspective.

I think Evalds is a little unlucky but Coote has been excellent as have Ratchford and Hardaker so it’s a tough call and probably the most competitive position
Konrad Hurrel has done for Leeds what he has for the rest of his career - made lots of metres, scored some great tries, been entertaining to watch and made a few howlers along the way. I’m a big fan of his and have been for ages so have no problem him being in three. Also I think there hasn’t been too much competition for centres this year - Gildart in with a shout, Percival maybe but not been that special this year or maybe Josh Griffin

But it’s a Dream Team so should be the best of the best and a large part of rugby league is defending, controlling games and winning. He’s fallen down in all three of those categories. I went for Gildart. He hasn’t been as electric as last year but that doesn’t mean he hasn’t been good. Percival has also had a good year but missed a few games and gets stick for a limited skill set (bit rich when Hurrell gets in). Griffin was excellent in spells but blows hot and very cold. Goodwin was solid all year but didn’t really hit Dream Team level IMO.

Not a chance Hurrell or Handley should be near the team, far better players in their positions this year despite Handley up near the top of the try scoring charts.
As for Josh Griffin, didn't he switch to 2nd row a few months back so not really worth considering for a centre spot?
Apart from the 2 Leeds players can't really complain too much about the team picked. Lussick must have surely come close as can't say Clark has been anything special when I've seen him this season.
Coote has been excellent but he doesn't really set the pulse racing like a Barba, Slater, Inglis etc. Just a very smart footballer with a good all-round game.
