Now I'm not a person for sartorial elegance or having to make a big effort to go out for the evening but when I saw the recent Shaun Wayne pre/post-match interviews it struck me how often coaches appear on the media looking like a cross between CBA and dragged through the proverbial backwards. Is this just common in RL or do other sports turn up to show themselves to the world and represent their club/sport looking like a street urchin? Just wondered. And also does it mean that's our stereotype, as a sport?

When we stuffed Saints at home, before things very much reverted to the mean, Keiron Cunningham honestly looked like a 14 year old spod who'd won a competition to be a Super League coach for the day. Properly looked like his mum was waiting off camera with a flask of hot Vimto for once he'd finished his interviews.
