It was a great win last night no matter how you look at it however it was spoiled for me by a very foul mouthed Salford fan. i was in the West stand, there was a very large amount of children sat very close to this guy but he didn’t seem to care Fffing and jeffing through the whole game, I was surprised he wasn’t told to shut up but when you have young kids with you the last thing you need is getting involved with horrible people like this guy. He was drinking quite a bit but that is no excuse, the Stewards must have heard him but did nothing. If we as a club can’t protect children from this sort of thing then how do we attract fans. In hindsight I should have told him myself, a few years ago I would have but old men don’t do to good against 18 stone drink filled morons.

I honestly cant shout too loud as ive been guilty of letting loose more than the odd expletive at times regardless of whose around me, mostly in temper, but I agree some people do over do it.
My Mam bless her has shown an interest in coming along to the odd game with me and my dad, but I cant help but think there would be some "incidents" as shes not shy about telling complete strangers to mind there language as I discovered the one and only time I took her to Old Trafford.
In fairness where as some of the language can be a bit gruff at times, weve come along way since the early 80's when it was perfectly acceptable for people to make monkey noises every time a black player had the ball, and referring to everyone from Yorkshire as a Sheep Sh****r.
Perhaps there is hope for the sport yet.

Probably the same guy in the west I heard, I was sat infront of a couple of Bolton fans who really enjoyed the match I even gave his young kid my old Salford hat, they had a good time but commented on the swearing he wasn't best pleased especially with a 7 and 10 year old about Probably just the heat of the moment but completely unnecessary to swear at every word

What's people's opinions about the Skysports commentators including the Two currently commentating on Catalan V Hull KR "We're sorry if you heard some Foul language " It came from a Hull KR player after having a try disallowed, This is because of the Ref being miked up and also the camera operator following the player around the pitch, Are there any Viewers who get Discombobulated every time they hear a Swear word I doubt it. On the last visit to Catalan I had a chat to one of the production staff at the Tv Mobile truck the Tv station uses, The woman said that French tv never says anything when the pick up Effing & Jeffing And she also mentioned that the TV production company does a lot of live sport broadcasts around Mainland Europe and they never feel it necessary to make any apologies for the swearing. It's down to the People who might get offended . Sadly it seems British people especially when there in the developing age as teens Will always go against anything there told not to do, Booze and substandard at that Peeing in the street And Tattoos 🤮these days Etc
