It’s picking up some steam on social media and is covered on the BBC preview of the game now. Generally positive response all round - you’d expect the odd plonker to say something negative but I’ve not seen much evidence of that so far. Good on the club.

Though not a fan of football I've got to say what a brilliant gesture and wonderful publicity for the club.
I'd have gone further and invited any of the players to come down too.
