Leaving at the end of the season, bit blow and I hope like Gleeson he will be adequately eplaced.

He’s leaving this week isn’t he? I hope he gets a proper send off - sure he will.
I’m probably too old for favourite players but he is my favourite player in the 30+ years that I can remember watching. A lot of people belittle his career slightly by saying he was just a grafter but grafters are underrated and I’m not having that anyway - his performance against Australia for example demonstrated more than simply hard work.

Paul was as has been said a grafter but all good teams have grafters as their foundations and he was a good a grafter as I've seen (alongside the great Dai Young).
He'll always have Salford at heart and I've no doubt he will come back in some capacity eventually.

That is sad news, lovely bloke doing a great job. But guess his new job will positively impact even more people.

Managed to have a quick chat with Paul last night and he said he’d still be around on match days. He said he’d be MC’ing still so either he’s confused or the club have changed his role already 😂

I’m really pleased he’ll still be around. He’s been a great servant to the club and is a top bloke.
The ambassador idea feels like a great one. Steve Kerry and Paul Highton on board already. Great to see some formal roles for ex-players. Exactly what the club should be doing
