Referee C. Kendall Touch Judge 1 G. Dolan Touch Judge 2 M. Craven Reserve Referee M. Mannifield Reserve Touch Judge G. Melling Video Referee J. Child M Com D. Campbell Time Keeper A. Brown Thursdays officials something about James child I dislike he Hates Salford Not happy with the Kendall appointment. He has been poor whenever I've seen him this season. Think we had against Wire at their place and he was poor then.

Brilliant win after a sluggish first half. They were clearly b***ock*ed after the challenge Cup, but we were professional 2nd half and got the job done.
In our own hands now. So proud of this lot and what they've achieved already.
Oh, and if Watson doesn't get coach of the year then the rfl are even more bent than I thought they were..

Nervous first half and then back to ourselves in the second. Tonight and against Huddersfield we’ve shown much improved mental toughness.
Welham and Sio were superb. Lussick changed the game.

Solid performance.
Like others have said, the mental toughness is there, and we're happy to back ourselves no matter what happens. We're gaining self-belief, but backing it up with work as well as expectation. We didn't get the rub of the green with a lot of decisions but we stuck at it and had confidence to push on.
I can't think of another time we beat Wire three times in a season...
Genuinely, the best Salford team I've seen since starting watching us play over thirty years ago.

As complete a performance as I've seen for a long time.
Diabolical referring for both sides.
Honestly quite sickening chanting from our own fans.
Watson, manager of the year.
Hastings, player of the year.
As for everything else, just harmony, all players in total harmony.
Tui, hell yes, stand of come battering ram.
Dudson, to many dimble brains slated him when we signed him, he's Welsh ergo Gill is a belter.
Moose, gets crocked and then comes back like he never missed a game.
TM, unheralded, the type of player you miss when he's injured.
Nial, for Gods sake we need to keep feeding him the ball, just want to see a Salford player top the scorers chart.
Welham, I just despise that he's Ginger. I mean come on so good but a red headed genius.
Welham, fugging AAAAA, total legend.
Jacko, the sooner we are rid the better, I mean honestly how long can Joey keep making JH look good ;-)

I don't understand how people (including Watson) are saying it was a good performance, we didn't get out of 3rd gear the whole game but still comfortably beat Warrington. Incredible really.
In contrast, I felt it was a below par performance and our worst since the Huddersfield loss 7-8 weeks ago. Our kicking game was poor, Jacko & Tui were quiet, we were poor in with the ball in hand and didn't really pass the ball around with any fluidity at all, well, apart from Sio's 2nd try, that was decent. On a more positive note, we were very solid in defence.
Hopefully that's our last 'okay' performance and we come out all guns blazing from now until our final game. To say I'm excited for the Leeds match next week would be a massive understatement. Let's hope they beat London this weekend so they'll be mathematically safe and pull their foot off the gas next Friday.
As Watto said in his after match interview on Sky, this team can go as far as they want to go, and with players like Jacko, Tui, Evalds, Lussick, Inu, Sio, Mossop, Flanagan, Walker, Jones etc the sky really is the limit this season. We could go all the way...

We could go all the way... I said it was a solid performance. You're right that JH had a quiet one, thought Tui was actually quite effective. I'll take 'mediocre' and win comfortably than playing champagne RL and losing by a point. It seems that we have found a way to beat our mental block about good sides and key matches. Something that I've never seen a Salford side do in all my years watching. I think what the game really showed was that we can still get results and play decently when JH leaves next season. If he'd have had one of his usual games last night we'd have put thirty or forty on them. I don't demand that we become world-beaters every week. After all, that's unrealistic. We've all always said that as long as the team show effort then we're all pretty happy regardless. There was bags of that last night, and that'll do for me.

Re- watched some of the incidents on Sky. Studio ref and panel thought. - Tasi at least sin binned for forcing McCarthys head into ground, ref penalty to Warrington - McCarthy potential try, ref gave try, overruled by video. Panel on close inspection said no reason at all to overrule
Warrington continually slowed game down and got away with it and we, in the first half, were forcing the play too much. Two forward passes with nobody around, tension
Thought Warrington, in adversity gave a really good account of themselves. Our tackling superb And a tense and exciting game, but we seem to stumble when we're favourites. And another 2 points towards the Play offs and some more money in the coffers (ÂŁ100,0000?) Crowd nearly 5,000 plus ÂŁ20,000? from Sky, very welcome, thank you.

In years gone by we would have been beaten. Earlier in the season we wouldn’t have been able to shake off the nerves at halftime- I think that Huddersfield game was a turning point. Now we just need to play from the first minute in these big games and we’ll be a team absolutely nobody will want to face.

Obviously a few brewski’s were had👍 agree with most and love the passion. Thought the ref was fine tbh and didn’t really notice him so in my eyes he did ok.

To say that the first half performance was shabby,is in my opinion unfair and off the mark. The first half had no tries but was a high class tough showing of two teams determined to get the upper hand by sheer hard work and graft. We have all seen us involved in games like this before and usually we get second prize. Without our first half effort there would have been no platform to build on. Remember just my opinion.
