Currently 87 F = 31C at the CC Final. Good job Lama Tasi isn't In The Warrington squad he'd either lose his cool quickly or be knackered so quickly he'd be back on the bench

Wire winning is the best result for us. Short turnaround, too much beer, over-inflated self belief = getting knocked down a peg or two.

It is unbelievably hot down here. Jokes aside, you’ve got to feel for Wire a bit - they can barely celebrate such a brilliant win because Sky have stitched them right up. There were a few suffering at the end (Lineham, King, Patton, Ratchford.....) and I’d expect a couple to be rested. We still need to be top of our game.

Good to see BMM get his second Wembley try in 2 years. I thought Ratchford was a close to Clarke for the Lance Todd trophy I thought And I thought Fages was St Helens best player
Good day for ex-Salford players (apart from Tasi). I don’t think it makes much difference if Warrington had won or lost. The short turnaround from Wembley should be in our favour but they will have an increased self belief now. We just need to do our thing regardless of what Warrington have been up to
As an aside I do think it is unfair that any finalist would have to play within a week of the final (but I won’t be complaining too much if we get the win on Thursday 😊)

I'm not sure if this helps us (fatigue, post win come down, partying) or hinders us (renewed belief) but we need to use Warrington winning as motivation.
I doubt anyone thought there was going to be anything but a heavy defeat yet they beats the odds, we have to look at it and think if they have so can we, there in reality is nothing to stop Salford getting all the way to final and winning it.
I said it earlier but Hastings deserves his day in the sun with Salford and I'd love to see him in a Salford shirt on the biggest stage pulling the strings.
