MR the defence was fantastic. For the 1st half hour their pack battered ours but they stood up. Watching 'highlights' is just like watching the putts go in at golf, they nowhere near tell the full story Putts go in?
Must work harder.

How good was Hastings' try? He has this aura that causes defenders to try to cover imaginary threats rather than tackle him. Such a special player.

I couldn't go yesterday due to other commitments and a great result. Appears our great away following had a super day out...so jealous. I see other clubs are now looking at us more seriously as a contender and the gratulations reaped on our club are all well deserved.
Win 3 of our last 4 and I can see us possibly finishing as high as possible 3rd which would give us a home tie in the playoffs at some stage. Some pie eaters are even mentioning a Wigan V Salford Grand Final....how good would that be?
The only blip I see is Leeds away as they always seem to do us, sometimes with the assistance of the ref or Myler cheating but makes for very interesting times and obviously gives us fans a little bit of hope, similarly when we played Wigan in the CC semi when 5,000 plus turned out.
Just wondered if we could try and `gee up` a few more specs for the Warrington home game a week on Thursday and then take some of our great following over the Leeds match to shout our boys on. Come on lets get the word out and drag everyone down to the Wire game.

In reality Hastings try was relatively easy. Welham intercepted on our line, made 70 m quick play the ball and for once the team was up there, went to Hastings and the lads gave him many options.
No lucky tries everyone really crafted inc 2 Mossop tries crafted by the hooker...typical Rowley type tries. Rowley's added value, bit of icing.

After seeing the highlights not sure if we were brilliant or Hull were dire.
Some cracking moves and I'll go as far as to say we look even more of an attacking threat since Lolohea replaced Lui.
Tui has better attributes as a player than Lui. He's quicker, more agile, has a better support game, he's a better kicker, and at 23 with Lui being 29/30 you'd have to say he adds more value to the squad. People said when he arrived that he looked unfit at Leeds but since he's been at Salford he looks like one of our fittest and hungriest players. Great swap deal for me!

They're different. Rob Lui is fantastic from 20 yards out, running the line and passing..class. Tui is just learning that aspect.

Lui was fantastic for us and I was sad to see him go. We now have though a player still learning and getting better every game. Only problem I can see is clubs wanting to buy him in the future. Great signing
