The key men are having a blinder here and we are playing some lovely stuff. 6-36 at half time

Need to keep this up. Points difference could be crucial end of season.

It all got a bit ridiculous in the end but you definitely got your money’s worth. The backs completely overshadowed the pack bar Tomkins and Jones - not that the pack were bad the backs were just that good.
We need to sign Tomkins and JJ soon and beg Inu not to retire.

Impressive tries. Hastings looks like he had a blinder. It was really encouraging for the next few weeks how well Hastings and Tui linked up. They Looked really good together in the highlights. We will miss Hastings massively. I don’t know enough about Atkin to know if he’s got the right stuff to work with Tui, Brown could do it but I can’t think of another HB in SL that could replace Jacko

Hastings is by far and away the best and most complete player I’ve seen in a Salford shirt. Been a pleasure to watch him and I’m absolutely heart broken he will be playing against us next season.
II thought Logan was fantastic today, a nuisance in defence and great distribution. I’d have no qualms if he and Lussick are interchanging 9s next season.

Austin has just left the Catalans v Wire game with a twisted ankle - tomorrow is now a big chance for Hastings to stake his claim for Man of Steel. Just to add a bit more pressure! I must admit i had the same thought, a big game today and against Huddersfield and he'll be hard to stop. When was the last time we had a 'man of steel' winner? He will be announced as a Wigan player though!

Just got home from working and watched the highlights. Going to start with a negative, hope Watson has them in for more defensive work this week as some of those London tries were powder puff at best. Now the positives (and there are many thankfully). Rhys Williams looks like he has much more pace than Olpherts and you'd hope he can catch a cold. Tui Lolohea looks superb, didn't know he was that fast and his kicking game is equal to (if not better than) Rob Lui's, still say we have come out of the swap deal much the better and it's nice to have 2 quality goal kickers rather than picking the less sh!t 1 on the day. Niall Evalds is just class, every chance we will end up with the leading try scorer in the league, his backing up is as good as I've ever seen in a red shirt. Hastings, well I've just never seen anyone quite as good as him, I'm heartbroken to see him leave (but can understand his reasons) but his commitment is unwavering, my hope for him is that he isn't stifled at Wigan, can't see him being given the free reign he is at Salford. Flash looks like his early season dip in form was a blip, we need a leader in the pack of his quality. Got to hope that Inu follows Welhams lead and goes around again, he might not have the speed but he has the knack of scoring. Welham, just upped his game, if only he wasn't a Ginner Got to think the recruitment of Yates and Williams is as promised by Watson an improvement on outgoing players.
Was Adebiyi any good? Seemed to have a decent turn of speed and the size that we need in a mobile pack, wonder if he'd be worth a look at? Oh and a mate just texted saying Rob Butler looked to have the potential to develop into a top class prop.
All in all a cracking attacking display (though London were shocking in the tackle) but work needs to be done in defence.

I watched a lot of Tui over the last few seasons, and the biggest problem teams had was finding a 'fit' for him. HB or FB? Wing or centre? The irony being that he played well wherever he's been asked but no team was willing to bank on him. Got a lot of natural talent, and the disfunctional set-up at Leeds was never going to be a good fit for him. Watson knows that he needs to show Tui some faith for him to gain confidence that has been lacking and he's repaying it at the moment. He's enjoying his footy again. You can see it with certain types of player. Lolohea is at his best when he's confident and worry-free, and he's getting that at Salford. Something he's not had for a while. It helps that he has a world-class organiser next to him, but I think that what he cements this year, will be a great foundation for next year.
