Odd stage of the season to open a club shop. Hopefully they stock some decent gear. Try and contain your excitement MR!! It’s being paid for by the club photographer, Steve McCormack, and Allegiance - where they frame sporting memorabilia so it’s opened when they’ve got the money and the opportunity Steve has said on Twitter that the stock will be limited to start with but will grow I think it’s brilliant that the club will have a permanent presence and shop at the stadium and thank Steve and others for making it happen |

Have often thought that a shop would be more successful if it not only sold club merch but other rugby/sports gear too.

I nipped down to the ground yesterday in order to pick my ticket up...got talking to Steve when I popped into the shop. He admits the stock is limited but they have some really nice signed photo`s and canvass stuff which are nicely framed etc. He admits that the opening of the shop has its limitations at the moment but he is hoping for some more stock before the Huddersfield game and he is gearing up for the launch of the new kit late this year and the xmas sales that generates. Whilst in there I spent £50 quid just more or less to make a donation, but I am on here to just endorse other peoples sentiments and try and encourage supporters to just `bob in` and buy something however large or small. I appreciate kit sales will be low as many (like me) have already bought the 3 shirts this season, but every little helps. The cut from sales goes `3 way` so some does go back to the club and a small cut back to the owners...so lets do our best eh!

I really like the shop. I’ve been in a couple of timed. Talking to the staff in there it sounds like it is doing good business
I like how it has some non-Salford related gear in there too. Broadens the appeal and the interest
The new t-shirt will be in there over the next few days as well

I'll be coming up for the Hudds game and I'm looking forward to bobbing into the shop.... would be good for the club to clarify the cut of sales as I thought we get 100% of any Wild Thang gear sales but none of the framed stuff etc or non-rugby stuff sales ...
