For Red Derren Brown has apparently launched a podcast alongside some other ex-Bunnies called “Rabbitohs Radio”. Haven’t listened to it yet, but may be one to tune into.
Still have fond memories of him chasing down Michael Withers in the corner at The Willows.

Great Player was Darren Brown. Always willing to try something different. Under rated.

I'm Certain Darren Brown had played in England a few years before he signed for Salford, I'm sure Itwould have been at Trafford Borough who played in the late 1980s early 1990s at Altrincham fc Stadium. I have a vague recollection of watching them playing a Cumbrian team Two of Traffords players were Russian and a former Red Steve Herbert was also playing for the home team alongside Darren Brown?

A Member of that forum KOTS King of the Shed knew the info He last browsed that Forum in may this year is he still posting on here Or has he abdicated?

KOTS doesn't post on and I'm not entirely sure he ever had a presence, but I know his brother browses occasionally.
As for Brown playing at Trafford I really don't remember, remember Brown as a brilliant ball playing forward along the John Cartwright.

I remember him, always hungry for the ball 😂 🤔 Enlighten us , Did he have a interesting and Varied social life? Or is it a play on words Starvin. Does anybody remember the two Russian players they had ? Apparently spent more time Buying old Ladas and sending them back to the Soviet union then at the training ground.

Mavin was a character on and off the field but could score fantastic tries especially with his trademark `swan dive`.
Don`t remember the Russians though.

The whole set up was a bit Odd . The Club was a Offshoot of Blackpool - Springfield Borough Wigan. And after two or three seasons reverted back to Chorley Borough Not really surprised the Russkies weren't In England too long, But it was the only the time until last Tuesday that I've been to Moss lane Altrincham to watch Alty v Stockport in a friendly game, The Hatters beat The Robins 2-1 if you are interested , But I guess your not 😎
