As of today Toronto Wolfpack are 12 points clear at the top of the Table with six games left next two away Widnes Bradford then the last four at home. But could lose at home in the Grand final in Toronto like last year, after probably winning 26 of there 27 games and still not get promoted. I doubt the likes of York or Leigh have the Finances to even get a Squad together.

Only Toronto can afford to get promoted. Running a reserve side will be mandatory in 2020 which is another drain on SL clubs

We seem to have struggled money wise this year since dropping out of the cup. Will it be even worse next year if we do the same again?

I am a meeting tonight as it happens to discuss that very question. We are looking at the Halifax model and we have made contact with their Supporters Trust who raise money solely for that reserve team. I will let you know in due course what transpires

I would happily put money in to maintaining a academy. It’s the only way a community club like ours can survive.

If anyone can make the Supporters Trust meeting tomorrow night I've asked Paul King to speak about it and give us an idea on what is required and how the fans can help.

Any idea why I keep seeing Toronto players futzing around in Monton, just this Minute seen Simms and a couple of other players near the BlueBell Because they basically live in the Manchester area which is why Darcy Lussick was refused entry to the UK after a trip to Europe a month or so ago - he had basically breached his tourist working visa by spending more than 6 months of the last twelve here. John Davidson did a good write up on the general mismanagement at Toronto- the visa stuff is a major issue but there are other things like late payments going on. I’m not so sure promotion is 100% guaranteed but they will probably get help.

Does seem odd Last Saturday Day/Night in Toronto tuesday afternoon in Monton Perhaps they've no Pie & Pasty shops in Toronto, And that's the first thing on There mind when they land at Manchester Airport. I'll be honest my Knowledge of Minton isn't massive, I've always wondered if it's the same sort of sedate fishing village that I spent part of my Childhood with a similar name . Moston

Moston Not as sedate as the exquisite Boarshaw by the Irk.
