Wtf are we doing extending his loan? We need him back. If we putting players like Lawton on the bench with no intention of giving him minutes, get the guy who can and looks good! Madness

Presumably, we’re more in need of a second row and we keep Lannon for the same period??!

Yeah at this moment in time I’d rather keep Lannon.

Murray got another start, this time in the crunch match against Wakefield. Must be toughening up.

Do we take him back or swap if we can for Lannon?

Do we take him back or swap if we can for Lannon? Have both if KR go down.

Looks like we’ve got a few props lined up so if we can keep JJ mk2 then I’d be fine with a swap.

Think Murray has potential but he's not realised it yet, think he is behind Burke in the pecking order.
Assuming Big Ben and Lawton go at the end of the season we have space for big bench forward (PP maybe) and a project so if we signed the lad from Fev then we have replaced both.
Sadly think you will see less and less of Mossop next year and that it will be his last so expect we need to find a fringe player who can come in for when his inevitable injury comes.
I'm most looking forward to seeing Yates, brilliant signing for me, tackling machine and does big minutes at 13.

Don’t think we should count Burke as a prop (he just doesn’t make enough yards and fits better at 13) or PP (we’ll need him as an impact back rower running wide) unless injuries kick in so we still might be short. Don’t think we should count out Mossop though as he’s been very good lately despite having hamstring problems.

Not counting out Mossop but the reality is his shoulders are made of Digestives and he's getting older, I'd have him in my 17 every week he's fit as he's a class prop.
Burke is invaluable as he can cover front, 2nd and loose, as could Lannon and Murray at a push.
I'd be seriously worried if we've brought in PP as a prop, he obviously isn't that type of player.

No he's an impact player. Can score tries from 10 yards out like Mossop did yesterday, when set up right. Can get us those extra points when it's tight

Mossop is 30 MR. Aren't you the one who said that props don't reach their peak until their early 30's? I think he's played around two thirds of our league games this season and been excellent as well when he's fit. I'm not sure what the expected game time over a season is for the average SL prop but I'd love to see him pull the shirt on for a few more seasons yet. He's 6 months older than Dudson and 2 years younger than Koppy as well (who I'm sure we'd all have loved to have kept if possible).
