Tallish lad, dark hair with beard?
He stands near us in South Stand and constantly rants at the players as well. I pulled him on it a few games ago as I'd had enough of it week in week out. He's got half a dozen mates who stand with him as well who are like sheep and won't say a word to him.
I walked past the bus last night and he was having a go at an older guy and telling him not to set foot on the bus again. Someone needs to give his head a wobble (literally).

I think I know the group that you mean in the south stand. In fairness they are the only group on that side who attempt to get any sort of atmosphere going. It's just a shame that we never got to hear the infamous 'sheep' song yesterday!

Nope, the idiot was the older guy and he kicked it all off on route to the ground which I stayed out of and when he got back on the bus he kicked off again in front of young kids. if you must know that's me you're referring to and I was trying to calm it down and rightfully told him not to get on the bus again the guy was a complete tool and it was bonkers. Constantly berate the players? You mean when me and not only me lost it with Olpherts and you came over? Get your facts right pal, I think you'll find our group get behind them and try and get an atmosphere going. Honestly feel free to come over if you think I am being out of order its not meant to be trust me. |

I walked past and didn't see what had gone on so only went off what I saw. Assume Pete who arranges the buses will know about it and hopefully ban the guy from using the service. The last thing we need is fans not coming to games for fear of abuse or their safety As for the other comments I stand by them. I don't think I've ever had a go at my own players. If they're not putting a shift in I just don't clap them off, simples. Whilst I'm not Olpherts biggest fan and he's f*cked up more times than I can remember I'm not gonna waste my energy standing there slagging him off. What other options have we actually got at the moment with Chamberlain out injured? Johnson has no pace any more, can't field high kicks either and his defence is suspect. I'd go as far as saying at least Olpherts has some decent go forward in him (if only he didn't keep dropping the ball when doing it!😂) I'm not disputing the fact you try and create some atmosphere, I'm just saying that getting on players cases doesn't help. We all want the team to win and none of us want to see schoolboy errors but I just don't see how slating the players is gonna help things. |

No, no point taken mate my emotions do get the better of me sometimes the lads do tell me trust me ha ha! I don't berate the players its just mainly Olpherts and my mate who stands with me did have a go at me in the same game saying whats the point in getting on his back. Thankfully we won't have to worry about him much longer, yes I only got involved because they were close family friends he was kicking off with and it got out of hand it was bizarre to be honest as it was all sorted by the time we got to the ground and then as we waited to depart after the match he started it all again then tried to play the what me guv? excuse. Hopefully he won't use the service again, poor Pete goes on holiday and all hell breaks loose we were saying he's not allowed to go away again! Ha ha |

Ha ha I have spoken to all of those I can contact and I can assure all users that there will be no further occurrences and there will be a normal service for the Catalan game. i invest a huge amount of my personal time to make the supporter buses work (and lots of other initiatives that you don't hear of) for the fans and i know lots of fans that use RD1 and RD2 really enjoy and appreciate the convenience they offer. |
