Quite honestly he’d have been mad to stay for another year when more money/stability/chance for silverware was on offer elsewhere. He’ll smash it on Thursday now guaranteed. |

Can't see him winning anything at Wigan I suppose his main reason for doing it is to get a Gig back in the NRL , Hence the Clause allowing him to leave Fair play to him He'll probably go back to OZ wiser more mature and a lot more Wealthier. If he Gets £250.000 For one season that's above the Salary cap in the NRL . That's a lot of pies he can buy, But I doubt he'll want to move to Wigginn, He'll stay in his the Apartment that overlooks the Flour factory? and ITV Studios in the Quays. |

We were never keeping Hastings and a club on our budget should be greatful we'd even seen a player of that Calibre on the budget we are atm.

Will be hard seeing him in a Wigan top next year.
Unfortunately going there will give him a bigger profile than staying at Salford.
We have been lucky having him for a year and he will leave with the best wishes of all Salford fans.
I just wish it was not them he was going to.

What a bitter pill to swallow, the hypocrisy of it all, Saints, Wigan and Leeds bleating about the Aussies poaching their best players, they open their cheque books and poach ours, Leeds buying their way out of trouble because they can. Because of them we will never get better than 5th Place. Yes I know all the arguments about players looking after themselves, short careers, families etc etc but if it wasn’t for the mugs sorry fans that love this game so much none of them would have a job.
I do wish Jackson all the best ( Not Wigan though) it has and is a privilege to see him wear the Salford shirt, I knew the day was coming and I hoped it would be an NRL team that would sign him. All good things come to an end , always seems to be our end though.
Roll on next season when we will be talking about another one of our Gems being seduced.
Sorry about the slight rant nature of the post, I have suffered these emotions for 61 years being a fan of the Greatest little club in Rugby League, Forever Red.
