If as expected, London go down, Lui leaves for HKR, Hastings departs and we are as mentioned on here lacking in serious know-how on the park and guidance around the pitch, would anyone else take a look at Kevin Brown for a season? If he can return from injury this season he would fill the mentioned Dobson/experienced half mould easily.
Sure it would be a short term solution to a long term problem but could keep us up in a much more difficult 2020 season.

Can’t really argue with that RUTB.
I’m with you on the ref - dodgy performance. The Griffin ‘interference’, Welham ‘tackle in the air’ and crusher on Inu were the worst for me.
On grubber kicks - I was watching Evalds closely as I’ve also noticed this and think he is partly to blame. He just doesn’t move quickly enough to get into position sometimes. At one point someone (might have been Mossop) had to drag him out of a tackle and push him back behind the defence otherwise he would have stood at marker. He needs some work in that area.

RUTB Yours views on yesterday are what I have saying since getting home from the match, well said. We were sat in the Kop, and especially in the first half we saw a couple of silly errors, but we also saw some terrific defence certainly when Pauli Pauli was sin binned. i didn’t see the lack of effort that some people are alluding to, mistakes for sure but no lack of effort and with a bit of luck the two points would have Ben ours. On the referee, all that I ask for is consistency, which we are not getting week after week,Pauli Pauli gets 10 minutes for a late tackle, which is fair enough, we then have the tackle on Hastings, nothing happens, the crusher tackle on Inu again nothing happens, we have Joel Tomkins and McGuire continually on at the referee again with no action from official, Griffin then is penalised right in front of the goals by the referee and they wonder why the officials are moaned at by the fans.

I think the frustration is yesterday and challenge cup we have let ourselves down what was the use in a defeat at St helens and all the praise if you cnt beat Hull kr! The challenge cup run would have brought much needed money and yesterday would have put us right in the 5!personally I think we're about right mid table I think we have over achieved

I agree about Evalds. His positional play is the worst part of his game It must be partly a tactical thing - he defends in the line more than other team’s full backs seem to. That might be one reason why our goal line defence (tackling) is so good That said all our players seem to struggle with bobbling balls. we rely on wingers and centres to clear the balls in behind the line which isn’t too bad when we are literally on the line but when there 5 or 10 out it’s hard to turn and outpace the attackers. And evalds hardly ever seems to get there to clear

I would have taken this position at the start of the season so I guess that means we’ve overachieved. Smallest squad and payroll in SL. So we’ve done well in that sense too But to not have won two or three of those close games and to be in the top 5 now is really frustrating

I was in the Kop yesterday so it was tricky to see why our attack was so flat in the first half, plus lots of dropped ball... anyone spot the reasons? But we often lose our composure at key periods of games rather than trying to push the opposition into making mistakes eg either by throwing a pass into touch at 20-20 yesterday or by giving away cheap penalties vs Wigan, Saints or KR yesterday all in the last 10 minutes...

We have a team of Andy Farrels at present, you have to ask how often they will go missing especially when rumours are rife?

No we need someone to take control on the field.

Lui didn’t throw the ball into touch, watch the replay. As he went to pass, their player caught his arm and that caused him to misdirect it,which is why he claimed that we should’ve had the put in

Tomkins 1 match ban, so he'll be free to play. Us!

Tomkins 1 match ban, so he'll be free to play. Us! For the bloody crusher tackle that we didn’t even get a penalty for - unbelievable. Apparently the Sky commentators defended it as well - clueless. I’m angry all over again!

He was having a right go at the ref as well at one point. No penalty. We show dissent and it’s a penalty under the sticks for the winning two points. Refs have a tough job, I know. But we should at least expect consistency and fairness. We are getting neither of those at the moment.

The Crusher Tackle was more of a Sin Bin than Numpty Tompkins high shot, But we don't get the 50/50 calls so it's a Gamble on opposition players which they know the'll get away with.
