Anyone got any suggestions for parking on Sunday? Not looking forward to visiting the dump that is Anfield but needs must to support the lads!😁
Seems like a lot of footie fans use the local train stations and get the shuttle bus but we're coming in from M62 side so kinda daft to go past the ground to then come back on yourself. Also, a Wire fan in work reckons Stanley Park will be out of action as there's a kids tournament on.
Oh and normally I'd get the train but as a mate isn't drinking he's offered to drive and seems daft not to take him up on his kind offer!

I've just seen that the salubrious areas east of the ground are Croxteth and Norris Green....😳 Think it's fair to say there's no f*cking chance we'll be parking round there.😂

I'm staying in L'pool town centre overnight Saturday and then planning to take some sort of bus to the ground for our match (and then back).... wish me luck!

Yeah I know about that cheers and the route is on the "west side" (said in an Ali G style accent😁) of the ground so shouldn't affect us hopefully as we're driving in from the east. I'd have done the train personally but my mate is coming from Poynton and can't drink so makes sense to car share. Just don't want some little scrote nicking his hubcaps.😂

I always park at the bottom of the cemetery when I go to Utd games there. You can’t miss it it’s huge. You can then walk through and marvel at the huge memorials with seats round them really odd.

Are they New Graves from this year? Probably the lost hopes of Man Utd For years to Come. Better to prebook parking for Sunday

It was easy to park in the main car park for the England v New Zealand game last autumn and this should be a smaller crowd so hopefully will be even easier. That’s my half baked plan anyway

Not been to the hovel for about 15 years, are there any decent boozers around there now?

When I went there for the World Cup Final, I walked from the Docks to the ground. You get to see the real Liverpool that way!

For anyone interested we're parking here... northliverpoolacademy.co.uk/10 minute walk to the ground and don't want to risk leaving the car anywhere unmanned. £7 for the day. We're gonna park up before 11 and walk up to this Wetherspoons... The Thomas Frost 177-187 Walton Rd, Liverpool L4 4AJ 0151 207 8210 g.co/kgs/yTVCsF Should leave enough time for a large brekkie and a few nerve settling pints.😋

When I went to the England v New Zealand game I parked next to Goodison - there were several pay car parks operating around there and it’s only a 5-10 min walk across Stanley Park.
