What a very good Final that was, had everything but lots of tries, nerve jangling and edge of the seat stuff. Magic!

I found this truly incredible; Danny Houghton didn't receive a single vote for the Lance Todd.
Sneyd 12
Shaul 8
Fonua 4
Clark 3
Pritchard 1
Which just shows how little jounalists know and yet they provide information that informs our views and prejudices, fantastic.

I thought Hougton was man of the match 80 minutes of top effort and top work rate. Sneyd was the match winner

Workhorses rarely get the accolades. It's not right.

Houghton was an absolute monster and his last ditch tackle did win the match. Of course sneyds contribution was also fantastic but for me Houghton should have won motm
Great game, thought wire had it won til gidley got injured, very close enjoyable game of rugby much better than recent finals

Workhorses rarely get the accolades. It's not right. Then we need a second trophy for all the players who miss out in this way - I can think of a few but it might be as well if it came from the Lance Todd era. But I've no idea who the unsung hero was for the Red Devils, does anyone know this? And it might get the journalists thinking too.
