I'm sorry to say but it all changed when Lussick went off and Wood came on. Despite some early career performance since his injury he's shown he's just not up for it. That being said it was an all round brainfart. We showed when we got it outwide we could stretch them and make goods position or score. Yet we decided to do one up rugby the majority of the game. Hastings as well tried far too hard and his head went down too early.

Didn't go today. Wtf happened in the second half?? Looks like a proper meltdown. Nothing happened in the 2nd half. Lifeless from the on set, if we think JH will stay beyond the end of the season that was the nail in the coffin, he looked crestfallen. I just hope the lack of spirit and effort wasn't the Turgut effect.

Anyone who’s watched Salford for an extended period of time could see it coming- Bandgeekmafia called it. I wouldn’t worry - we’ll probably look like world beaters against Saints next week now. Mind you, even for Salford this is a frustrating season.

Didn't go today. Wtf happened in the second half?? Looks like a proper meltdown. The team that wanted to win won that's all their is to it really. Someone will come on with stats to prove me wrong. But take it from me it seemed like I have wasted £24 pounds. If someone came for the first time today they are not coming back. Someone said on the way out we were garbage he might be right. Now for the stats.

Awful performance. Awful atmosphere. All this talk of how good our fans are even though we’re small in numbers is nonsense.
Hull KR wanted it more, but can’t help feeling off field matters have had an effect. Seems strange doesn’t it, that as soon as Lui, Jacko, Jones paper talk (plus Jansin) has surfaced, we see the worst performance in recent memory. We move on.

When will Watson and the club know when the seven out of contract will actually be leaving to pastures new. Have some actually decided only it seemed like it to me.

Should have had that game won first half. Second half was disgraceful not one player turned up. The continual tactic of kicking the ball in the air last tackle did not work, where was the variation and alternatives. Going for 2 when HKR were on their knees was another brain fart. The HKR players looked relieved after that and then got momentum. Bibby in the second row when Sau was available was another bizarre decision. Worst display this season in the second half. Only top five to play for now. We all still wait a Wembley visit.

It’s been a rough week I think we can understand it affecting players mindset- it’s only a problem if it continues so lets see how they go in the next few weeks. There will be at least a couple who want to stay and are waiting to see if Salford can free up the funds to offer them a decent contract. Even if the money is there contract negotiations don’t happen overnight. The situation isn’t ideal but I refuse to think the worst until it actually happens. If that’s naive then so be it - at least I’ll enjoy it until the very end.

It must be awful for the coach in that situation.

If you feel bad, listen to the Watto interview sent out by the Supporters Trust.

After more or less 24 of reflection yesterday's performance had more than a whiff of resignation about it, it looked like some players minds were elsewhere already.
The big forwards either had been flogged to hard in training or just simply didn't fancy it as they were wandering around like it was a sunny day I the park.
Some of the missed tackles would result in an under 8's team getting bollocked never mind professional athletes.
It looked like there was no game plan other than to try and bomb the hell out of them.
The most frustrating aspect was that KR were dire and really should have been put to the sword with a strong wind behind our backs and better halves.
Sorry to be a doom and gloomer but that's going to be the start of a drop off in attendances.
A friend also pointed out that that with Salford mako g the football league the cost of attending games will increase and some will have a choice to make, football or rugby.
