Go on then. What was stopping them today?

People need to face facts, we just don’t have many fans. We would be getting similar attendances if we were in the middle of Salford. The people of the city just aren’t interested in RL.

The only team we have beaten at home this season was London and it was hardly a thriller - we’ve lost the rest. When you don’t have many hardcore fans you need to sell entertainment. Salford are currently selling rubbish at home.
Yes the team isn’t far off but that isn’t going to convince the casual fans to turn up in droves I’m afraid.
4013 is abysmal though considering.

We have lost at least 2k fans with the move from the Willows. 4K is around the top attendance now. Salford football club also get poor attendances considering where they are in the league. Man Utd are the main attraction in Salford and that will never change

Looked more than announced. I don't think there was 700 less than when we played them a month ago.
Quite a few would've done Wire on Friday then Salford city today though I imagine which would've made some impact.

Without looking it up I would say about 5.5k. Although despite the cries of vandalism and anti social behaviour around The Willows it seemed to attract more away fans than the AJ Bell.

Quite. And those who lived on the periphery could very easily get a bus to the game and the ground was 25 minutes on the tram away from city centre Manchester. I used to live in blackley and it took 50 minutes from house to ground on public transport. . Wonder what that journey would take now?
