Would love to see it happen but can’t see it myself. Think the record is over 7k from the first Koukash-era game against Wakey (I could be wrong). Hate to sound pessimistic but I think around 5k is realistic, if we could average that over a season it would be a massive improvement. Tbh I think we would only start to see a proper increase in attendances if we achieve a prolonged period of success on the field. The marketing and social media side of things has definitely improved, hopefully this will continue.

Today there should be entertainers on the concourse, a BBQ, face painters and the Herbert DJ (in the Marqtent) needs to turn the volume down a notch so everyone can enjoy some tunes in relative comfort. Think for laughs we should play some Mungo Jerry when Wigan trot out ( www.youtube.com/watch?v=zc9wIzi96_E ) and give Jacko lots of noise as he comes out.

No way we’ll get a record attendance today but good trolling attempt Font. 5k would be an excellent result
Can’t have a BBQ unless the stadium company decide to do it as they are in charge of catering
There’s a sponsored walk on from the Cadishead Rhinos to the match to raise money for new floodlights
There are kids matches being played on the outside pitches before the game with the teams attending the match with their families
There’s a reduction in price for fosters in the tent
Not aware of this being a takeover day with anyone
MR - have you tried chatting to the DJ about the volume? He’s a top top fella in sure he’ll listen to you

The heady days of 10K at the Willows seem like a Sutton Hoo dig
