This time we have a game on the Friday before the CC weekend and then the Friday after so there is no real issue with player recovery, what day do you reckon they will go for?
There's no Sale game so we really have the whip hand for once, KR play on the Sunday so we could look at getting it as close to that as we are allowed to get a recovery advantage, guess it comes down to if the game is picked for TV.
Sunday afternoon for me and market the hell out of it and try for a bumper crowd.

Someone just pointed out to me that it's the last day of the Wendyball season on the Sunday and all the games KO at the same time (can you imagine any sport not doing it this way?) So to play on Sunday would be suicide.
Queue Sunday being picked not a Saturday afternoon.

BBC have 2 games and Sky have 2 games I would guess we will be on Sky Thursday or Friday,as there are on paper 2 higher profile games which The BBC May show Saturday and Sunday

With Hull kr at home on the previous Sunday this hopefully rules out the Thursday night slot.
Would go for Friday night personally if we get a choice. An extra 2 days rest for us and a short turnaround for them.

Saturday afternoon would be best but do the RFL allow you to play at the same time as a televised game?

Saturday evening, say 6 as they do abroad.

Why not play at the same time as a televised game so long as we're not being televised by the opposition? The issue with Wendyball will not occur to the powers to be so expect the Beeb to ask for us Sunday and wonder why 1) our crowd is lower and 2) their audience is lower. Hull KR would try to avoid Friday when you remember they host Saints the previous Sunday. (Who we visit the next Friday!)

Could do without it being the Saturday. I already have plans that day and Salford City FC might be at Wembley in the play off to get into the football league proper I have heard that they don’t arrange games around my availability but hopefully this time they will

As much as I dislike Thursday night games, it would be the best for me this time just cos we're away over the weekend.
I don't think we'll be on TV though: Wire/Wigan, Hudds/Saints, Hull/Cas and Bradford/Leeds are all bigger games in stature I'd say.

Now confirmed that we are not on TV Bradford vLeeds preferred to our game. I'm amazed by that 10 years ago that would have been the glamour tie but now this will be a cake walk for Leeds.
Up is we can choose our own day and time of KO.

I wouldn't say it's a cake walk; Bradford haven't done too badly so far this season, home advantage with hopefully a big crowd, and Leeds have been rubbish all season (apart from against us, typical). Potential upset on the cards? Still think Leeds will win, but not as convincing as the last round or what I'd expect the Catalans/Doncaster game to be.

How Come? We'd get a worse Attendance if the match was played on the Sunday Because as already mentioned in a earlier post It is the last Match day of the Premiership, Unfortunately as your probably we'll aware We a RL Team as well as all the other Sporting teams in Greater Manchester are unfortunately second when it comes to Wendyball. The 2pm kick off is probably down to the Traffic on M60 Saturday afternoon to and from the Terrible Centre.
