Has there been any sort of announcement about a playing date yet?
Sale are away that weekend so Friday. Saturday or Sunday would be possible but then Manchester United play at 17:30 on the Saturday night so you'd hope that the club go for Sunday afternoon and work on some good promo deals to get the fans in.
I went to Wakefield with a mate who follows Salford football and he suggested fans with a football season ticket might get a discounted ticket if they rock up on the day and buy them. Maybe throw in Rochdale football fans with a ST too.

Considering it is the Easter weekend the weekend following, I’d imagine that the club will be doing everything they can to have the game on the Friday night so as to give the players maximum recovery time before a busy schedule.

After the draw was made they said Ties to be played 13th / 14th April Unless the match is Scheduled to be shown on TV or streamed I'd go for Sunday 14th. Unless that Non Existent beardy bloke from Palestine makes a Surprise return.
Don't forget The Friday night game is the best option BUT the RL Have no sense So they probably Wouldn't allow it.

[Warning: Selfish comment follows] so I may be able to get a pint in Rochdale after all.

Do Sky get to show a game and if so is it us or the Leeds Workington tie? Not sky. Thinks its BBC who have live Challenge Cup games. Probably be Leeds if the rfl have there way.

Very interesting selection options this week.
Can see Lussick making way for Tomkins (unless we don't want him cup tied as think he will go when Wood is back).
If Wood is fit to play either Lui or Hastings gets a rest.
Sau back for Bibby, I'd say Inu but he needs match fitness.
Lawton in for JJ (just for the rest been just about our best this season).
Murray in for Dudson (again just for the rest).
Pity Sio is injured or I'd experiment moving him to FB and trying Evalds at 6.
Maybe bring in a youngster or 2, that young lad who shone pre season at hooker is worth a shout.
It's now when you notice that beyond the 19/20 match day regulars there's little depth and that is maybe why the players are under performing as they know there is no player waiting in the wings to replace them.

Wonder if having a small squad means we should be rotating more often, as not to have burn out, which might be happening now
