I rate him and hoped we’d sign him pre season. He can be hit and miss but I’d still say he is a step up at right centre. Evalds, Sio, Sa’u, Inu, Chamberlain is a decent back line by anybody’s measure especially with Bibby looking decent as backup and Olpherts having his moments.

Definitely adds more depth and quality to our back line Pleased he’s come in There are some risks around his age and how well his knees will hold up but he’s a quality player and if he can fire them I’m excited to see him in the red shirt

Very impressed to add such a high quality player into the mix mid season, can't think we have ever had 2 more block busting centres that Sa'u and Inu at the club, I people don't like it but Inu is prime to cover the back row too if there are injuries in the forwards and never hurts to have another goal kicker out on the pitch.

Interesting to note the 31st March deadline for the squad builder. A final opportunity for anyone who has been putting it off to sign up.😉
Could do with another 1 or even 2 signings as the season progresses.

Pleased with this signing as it gives us more depth. I suspect that Welham's pitch time might be limited on the back of today's news which doesn't upset me in the slightest 😁

Think that we have an extremely strong backine.
Evalds, Sio, Sau, Inu, Chamberlain,
With Bibby, Welham, Olpherts and Johnson as backup.

Wonder if this brings to an end the back up halve we are all pretty much agreed we need, the lad from the Championship might work well.

I would be surprised if Welham and Johnson finish this season as Salford players. Given our tight finances can't see how we can keep 4 centres and 4 wingers on the payroll. 3 in each with Bibby and Chamblerlain having utility purpose seems better for us.

We currently have Sau, Johnson and Sio injured. So we’d be a player short. And Sio and Chamberlsin also provide cover at full back so potentially 2 players short Also means that half your back line knows his place in the team is pretty much guaranteed. At least 2 players per position is the minimum in my opinion

In an ideal world we would have 2 players per position but with the financial restraints we have then 3-into-2 seems to be our best option, especially when we are short in the halves.

I spotted that but feel that it really is just that we have signed Inu.
Really would like to see Louis Jouffret come in from Batley, looks like a very exciting prospect with a very good turn of speed.
