Absolutely massive game on Friday. If we play like we did against Huddersfield we should win fairly comfortably. I don't want to see a repeat of Saturday's game. Hopefully the loss to Leigh will galvanise the team.

The players will realise that their whole financial security may be on the line on Friday, and I'm hoping that this will motivate them to go out and batter HKR. Trouble is, it could also make them nervous like Saturday, and I really don't want to see a repeat of that anytime soon.
I'm hoping home advantage will be key. We're strong at home and I'd hope we'll be making the Leigh game a thing of the past by stamping authority on this match.
I'll be optimistic and say we'll go out and win this comfortably.

If we do indeed win on Friday, I believe that the final league positions could be determined by points difference. Huddersfield just clawed back their deficit against Fev in impressive style, so I hope we set out to win by a comfortable margin.

Still seething about Saturday, all you can say is rob lui will never have such a bad 80 minutes ever again. HKR becomes enormous and I think we'll be at the races from the off. If we stay up and lose to leigh and maybe leeds then I'll be happy but I hate losing to leigh. Hate it.

Concur with the messages above, I am still infuriated by the performance on Saturday. It hasn't helped that fans of opposition clubs have been telling me all week that Salford threw that game away.
Hull KR game is massive. Even after the disappointment of Leigh you cant see beyond a Salford win. Our record at home is excellent and plenty in a red shirt should have a point to prove.
Beat KR and we should be safe. You cant see us losing to either Batley, London or Fev (if anything though we will need to put big scores on each of these).

Credit and RFL are two words I'd never put together they are ruining rugby league every year they are in charge.

Always feel more confident when Jones is back, adds some defensive steel. Could do with Carney back and firing to though.

When you look at Jones' stats you really start to see why he is essential to Salford winning.
The top player for Tackle busts with 107. Twenty-eight more than Carney. Third in metres made behind Sau and Carney with 2070. He's our top offloader with 38 (12 more than Lui!). His defense is solid and can play back or forward.
Our two most influential players, statistically, are Jones and Carney. If they play we increase our chances of winning considerably.
