Was looking at zero tackles table of Salford's current contract situation in an attempt to second guess what may happen when we secure our SL status...Not sure of the accuracy of this but based on this table...  We've brought in Daniel Murray from Warrington who's a prop. We know that Josh Griffin is gone. I'd hazard a guess that Burgess, MCB, Joseph, and Mateo will probably go. I'd hope that Jones, Kenny and Koppy will be offered extended deals once the M8's are done. Tomkins may be offered a new deal, depends if anyone is lined-up. Everyone else seems to be signed-on for next year already. So, for me, forwards are still key for us going forward. I can see Evalds gaining Griffin's centre spot or becoming wing partner with Vidot moving to centre. Either or. But we'll need to secure some decent forwards for the new campaign for sure. |

I think you're right that Joseph and MCB will be leaving. I wonder if we will use the marquee signing straight away next season. I guess it's hard to implement it just yet given our current predicament.

I guess it's hard to implement it just yet given our current predicament. The list isn't completely accurate as it misses off a few players, which is why I mentioned the accuracy. I can't find info about contracts anywhere else so this'll have to do. Tomkins isn't on loan. He signed a 1 year contract at the start of the season iirc. I stand corrected if that's wrong of course. Jones and Koppy are a worry if the table is true. I'm sure deals have been offered subject to the guys signing on retention of SL status. At least I hope so! |

To add to the leavers think Tommy and Weller are odds on.
You'd think BMM would sign an extension can't see him getting too great a gig back home.

I'll be honest I don't think the information above is accurate.
I've been informed that Josh Jones still contracted for another two years after this season, I do agree with AstleyRed though I'd be offering him a big long-term deal so if he was to leave we can demand a hefty transfer fee.
Joesph, Sarsfield, Forster, Hauraki and MCB are all rumoured to be going too. If MBC leave we'll have made a huge mistake, Sheens work your magic and get him signed up on a long-term deal.
