If there is a worrying negative from the games this season it is the lack of a dependable kicker, yesterdays game is a prime example.
Sio, Hastings and Lussick can all kick and it seems that we aren't set on one of them being the main man.
This could come back to haunt us in close games deeper into the season.

Always a worry when you have no set very reliable kicker for conversions.

Always a worry when you have no set very reliable kicker for conversions. That's my point, it just seems like perm any one from 3.
Get Steve Blakeley involved or someone like that.
But pick one guy and stick with him.

How long is chamberlain out for? Isn’t he the recognised kicker?

Would be harsh to drop Olpherts, not done much wrong so far.

How long is chamberlain out for? Isn’t he the recognised kicker? I think technically you need two (with one of them on standby) practicing with a coach together after the rest of training has finished for a bit of competition, avoiding boredom and providing direction.
That is the stark choice for coaches: a goal kicker against someone playing well enough to be included.

Think he'll need to rest a couple on Thursday

Olpherts has been much improved but Chamberlain is a better player and can kick - no brainer for me

I do agree that it would be harsh on Olpherts though

Strange that no-one here has mentioned the best kicker at the club... Dr Devil! Has no-one seen him slotting them over at HT in the kicking comps?😮 Are we allowed to bring him on just to kick like they do in the NRL?🤔

There was a mention in Watson's post match press conference about Hastings picking up a shoulder injury?
If he's not gonna be 100% we might see Evalds in the halves and Chamberlain at full back?

He said he’d got a stinger and that he’ll be fine I think?

Can't be long before we have to rotate the squad slightly, we have been lucky in that there have been no injuries but you can't simply play the same core of players week in week out or you will invite injury and fatigue.
