Just a thought re Brierley, aren't we chasing Toronto for some money for the GOB transfer? Surely that can be offset against Brierley coming in, or would it be on a free and it's his wages that seems to be the sticking point?

Does anyone pay a transfer fee for anyone anymore?
The only time a transfer fee is involved is when a team wants another teams player but they don't want him to go and he's under contract.
Ie us.
If Wigan offered 500,000 for sau do you think we'd say no?
That's the problem with the way we have to run atm. All our players have a price unfortunately.

I think he's too well off at TWP so seems happy to go to their feeder club, in the hope.
