Yup, anything that can help raise awareness of these often very misunderstood conditions is a good thing.
My ex had two identical twins with high functioning autism, proved to be a lot of learning and hard work for me to understand how to interact with them and understand how they were seeing the world so my normal actions didn't freak them out. Its a tough one even though they were high functioning, I couldn't imagine having to live and work with low functioning autistic.
Fair play to people who are willing and capable to do this kind of work.

I'm gonna be honest I wasn't aware of this hate incident but I did hear part of the announcement when the 2 ladies were brought into the pitch. The announcer mentioned something about Rugby League being inclusive and thought they were just doing a cringey, "look at us we let lesbians watch our team as well"!😳 (in my defence he is one of the most annoying tannoy announcers ever and must have been a kids TV presenter in his past life!😂) But yeah, great gesture by KR. Spineless little turds like the cretin who wore that note need their balls cutting off (assuming it's a guy of course). I'm ashamed to be British sometimes when I see some of the stuff that goes on in this country and the huge amount of racism, homophobia etc that still exists in this day and age. |

I pulled up the Widnes fans on this last season on one of their forums as sounded like they were singing it when they played us but they reckon they were chanting "Tommy Olbison". I wasn't convinced as it sounded too much like Robinson to me.😂 |

Sadly we're in a world where the only thing greater than the hate is the amount of two short planks around. Did anyone see the story of attacking Karl Marx Grave, dead people and inanimate objects don't fight back. I left Total RL because there were a few on there too and no one picked it up it was just accepted but they'll pick it up if you have a go at yawnion. Magic stuff that!

Quite a Few Locals have mentioned to me that they've watched TV programmes about how Hate crimes have risen in the UK Especially since the Referendum, Which I do find quite embarrassing, Because it's Berliners talking about Extreme Right wing attacks on foreigners. Some of them Get the irony as well !! |

Some of them Get the irony as well !! When I worked if Wolfsburg They were few and far between, incidents that it, and that's another thing that's often said Brexit had nothing to do with prejudice.
I put this thread on partly because good news is sometimes hard to come by and it should be celebrated when we find an example. It reminds us we're not that bad but we need to watch the ones that are like Yaxley-Lenon.
