I know its already been discussed on previous threads however I just wish to know if there is anyone that can enlighten me or indeed ask the question of the club as regards ticket prices,I noted the full breakdown on a facebook entry re the costs and just wondered if the club could consider offering deals on the more tickets purchased for the `one off` games. Unfortunately due to my employment I am unable to attend some of the games due to shifts and weekend working and now that the home games are on a Sunday afternoon I am finding it more and more difficult to attend the home games. Now I used to bring with me my two sons (1 aged 18 who is on an apprenticeship and the other 23 yrs) so if I don't go, neither do they, so that's 3 down on the attendance already. I couldn't go to the London game as being on a 2/10 shift. What I`m getting at is for the likes of me where a season ticket is not viable, the on the day costs are quite expensive if I have to pay full whack. When they were under 16 I used to buy the family ticket which I thought was reasonable but now its costing me an arm & a leg if I have to pay for 3 x adult tickets.
Has anyone got any ideas apart from say offering say 4 adult tickets for the price of 3 or a slightly discounted price for the more you get...lets say I get 3 for £60, surely this is better than not having those 3 extra bums on seats which would add to the atmosphere. I know other people are trying there hardest to take extra friends/family and just think the club are missing a trick on the ticket pricing.
I am certainly not wishing to devalue the goods on show and do not wish to upset those that have season tickets, but surely if I`m forking out £60 quid plus for tickets then a small discount or 4 family adult ticket should be considered.
I went to the Hudds game but now look like I will be missing the home games along with 2 of my sons due to price and change of playing days, although I also note you cant please everyone re Friday or Sunday home matches.
Just wondered what other peoples views were and whether anyone or the club have suggestions or would consider the family ticket for adults!
