Grade C carries 2-3 game recommended ban. A real worry if you are a Giants fan!

While I loathe Brough I'd hate to see Huddersfield drop down, if they did in all reality it would be Leigh who would take there place and God I couldn't contemplate that.
Had anything gone on before with Tomkins to prompt him to do this?

And while they're at it they should do him for the cannonball in the last game

According to the RFL's disciplinary guidelines, intentional use of the elbow to strike another player carries a minimum length ban of 8 games. Therefore, how can a ban of 2-3 games be suggested? That seems rather contradictory by the RFL...
Edit: 'recklessly' striking with the elbow is a 2-4 game ban, 'intentionally' is 8+

I've said the same hope they throw the book at the horrible little runt.
If he gets the 3 games could have a big bearing on Huddersfields fight for the top 4, as they don't look to have any direction without him.
Hope they stay up though.

I wouldn't be surprised if the charge gets downgraded

I wasn't at the game but if it's the incident on the highlights I think 2 or 3 games is sufficient. He is indeed a horrible little irritant and he seems to escape most of the time. I'd prefer Huddersfield didn't go down as Ken Davy seems a top bloke with his heart in the right place

After looking at the footage the play had moved on, Tomkins was on his back and he blatently put the elbow into his face.
8+ for intentional use
2-4 reckless use
For me me it was as intentional as they come but knowing how the RFL view things it'll be 1-2 max.
Remember Sinfields unintentional head butt on Dorn.

Well seeing as Huddersfield next games are Featherstone at home, Batley away and London at home I'd guess he'll get 3 games and they bring Brierley in to cover him.
