I really enjoyed the launch day, the squad looked pumped up and all ready for next week.
I met Lawton in the lift leaving the stadium and he said he was off the Rochdale for a few games to build up his match fitness. That guy is just huge😂

Typical that the squad building photo was on pretty much the only day I couldn’t be there
Good to hear they’re trying to get Lawton up to match fitness. He is proper big and could be a real weapon once he’s ready
Any other interesting titbits from the day?

Watto and Bleasey are still looking to bring in another two but that depends on the money being there. It was interesting to listen how the pre season training has changed this season with less longer runs and more focus on the shorter sprints to as they estimate that the ball will be in play between 10-15 minutes more this season. We had a sneak preview of the tryline video which will be launched next week pushing the season tickets. The whole feel about the club this season is a country mile away from other seasons in my opinion. If we stay injury free i can see top 6👍 |

Hope the club get in touch about getting my platinum members things, didn't get the letter that others did.
Good to hear there's interest in 2 more, we got's to hope that we have a relatively injury and suspension free season.
The extra time with the ball in play is going to be crucial, makes a smaller more mobile pack seem more and more sensible.

I thoroughly enjoyed the event and thought that Highto handled it really well. I had a good chat with Jacko and the most surprising thing was he didn't know whether a Flat White was invented by the Aussies or the Kiwis....
