Just received another interview, this time Daniel Dizzy Murray from the Supporters Trust. Really good. Seems like they're able to add more things this year after getting themselves together for the first year. Worth the tenner now me thinks.

Absolutely worth the tenner. It would be great if all fans signed up. Not sure how many ST holders we've got but say it's 1000 adults, then that's 10k raised straight away and a large chunk of that cash can be ploughed back into the club, foundation etc.
After the AGM last week, hopefully they'll be able to send out a calendar of events for the coming season that can re-engage the fans.
Big thanks to all those involved and look forward to plenty more stuff coming out in due course.👍

Worth a tenner as I won a signed Daniel Murray players shirt for being a member... though it hasn't turned up yet lol
Edit: it turned up a couple of days after I posted this

Thank you for the positive feedback guys, it really is appreciated. We are a small but committed board determined to support every aspect of our beloved club. If you came to the AGM you will have heard that our first year was a packed agenda but we didn't share much of that because it involved working with Rosler behind the scenes and generally organising ourselves.
However we did host fan events, raise funds for the club and foundation plus the kids Christmas party. We will organise regular fan events this year, fund raising evenings and relaunch the Junior Red Devils along with lots of interviews etc etc
I know year 1 we had 500 fans sign up and as they did so across the year some have not reached the end of their 1st year though we are trying to harmonise memberships on the same year as our financial year. Our junior membership now stands at 270 which is tremendous and we have plans to build closer links with the community clubs and local schools alongside the club. We are working on agreeing deals with transport providers for next season (pretty much there now) and we provide additional resource for the club at key events.... And breathe👍
For those who are in two minds about joining us please think again as every penny we raise goes to help the club, the foundation or the fans. If you want more info email me at Peterbrady427@gmail.com

Definitely worth the tenner. I couldn’t make the AGM last week but it looked great. The interviews with Watto and Dizzy this week are really good. Wish I had more time to offer and get involved and a massive thanks to those that do give up their time to do it

At the AGM i outlined a plan to set up supporter hubs across the city where there were enough interested Salford fans. This is after we reviewed a similar scheme run in Leeds which is proving very popular. Each hub has a 'fanbassador' who liaises with fellow fans drumming up support for the games and arranging transport to and from ground. In return the club would arrange player appearances a couple of times a year, a free season ticket for each fanbassador and free parking for the minibus/coach transporting the fans.
Do you know of pubs/clubs in your locality, maybe your own local pub, that might be interested in such a scheme. Of course the pubs on the route of the current supporter buses will have transport provided but there maybe areas not covered say in M27 (Swinton) or perhaps in Irlam or Cadishead?
I would appreciate your feedback to whether this could work for us.

Supporters Trust members will have received this morning the details on the supporter buses for this season. RD2 will be limited to 16 return seats to be booked online so book early to avoid disappointment. If demand grows then will add more minibuses or go back to a single decker. The club will include the details on their match comms shortly N.B. Each journey will be approx 35/40 mins subject to traffic arriving at the AJB 30 mins prior to kick off

Is the online booking system restricted to 16 for RD2? What happens if 20+ people book on during the week?

It is limited to 16 tickets so once they have been sold the system wont allow you to buy anymore. If demand grows then we will either put on more minibuses or go back to a single decker bus but we can't afford to lose money like we did last season

The next fan forum will be held at Walkden Legion on 28th May at 7 for 7.30pm. Jacko and Joey will be doing a Q&A and we will have a quiz night along with a brief update on membership and transport. You will need to be a member of the trust to attend but you can join on the night and it's only £10 for a full year. It would be great to see as many as you there as possible

We would love to see some fresh faces on Tuesday and you can join the ST on the night. Remember, everything we do is for the benefit of the supporters, the club or the Foundation.

A big thank you to all those supporters who came down last night to the Q&A with Jacko and Joey. They were both very honest about the performances season to date and how desperate they both are to succeed at Salford. Without naming names Jacko expressed his disappointment in certain team mates who he felt were letting the team down with their mistakes game after game and were not doing enough to correct them. Jacko gave Wayne Bennett a 'come and get me plea' about playing for England/GB in the future. He said he owed a lot to Salford and the fans and he felt that by pulling on the England jersey would be a way of paying us back. His late nan had always wished he would play for England too. All in all a fantastic night with two superstars of our game👍
