In his post match interview, Watson said Tomkins was pretty much fit and was considered for the Wigan game. If that’s the case he’s likely to be on the bench at Hudds I would have thought. I’d imagine Burke would drop out of that squad above
Welham was full of praise for Olpherts too so will interesting to see who ends up on those right wing and centre positions

In terms of parking - I’ve never had a problem parking at the ground. Can be slow getting to and into the car park. But it’s ususlly pretty good If you can go on the train then it is better. It’s about a 20 minute walk to the stadium but there are some cracking pubs and plenty of eateries in the town centre. The real ale pub at the station (the head of steam??) does great beer. There’s a kind of rock pub in the town centre that does amazing burgers. Can’t remember what it’s called though There aren’t too many good places to eat near the ground but there is a social club a 5 or 10 minute walk where you can get pie and chips and a beer for reasonable prices. It’s the gas club or something like that. Always busy. Beer so so but cheap and cheerful Thank you for your response, however I will most probably head straight for the ground as I`m taking my mum with me....don't laugh....she`s 80 yrs of age and live`s ,eat`s and breathe`s Salford Red Devils. She has been a season ticket holder for 60 yrs or more and not so clever on her legs so walking is probably out of it but thanks for your help, along with the other contributers offering guidance etc. See you there as definitely going. Oh and she`ll love pie and chips, she is easily pleased Ha.

Cudjoe is out as well and they're talking about bringing Grix out of retirement to play fullback. Definitely playing them at the right time.

Not too worried about Cudjoe but McGilivray being out is a massive bonus. We were 11/4 online the other day but reckon they'll slash the odds on a Salford win with that news.

Looks like word has already got out to the bookies regarding Huddersfield injuries. We were 3/1 with Coral the other day, now in to 12/5. Still very good value that and worth a few quid at that price.

Is the rock pub called The Parish? Never actually been in there so might give that one a go. Shame it's a Friday night. Quietly confident of getting a win. We've got a decent record there, and it seems like they've got a few injuries. Hope we take a decent following. Looking forward to it!

Was Halloween when I first went in (after an international game) so it was particularly goth-looking but it was friendly enough and the beer and food was good. Although I’d had a few by then! I’d forgotten the Sportsman, that’s a good one too. Think I’m going to have to drive next week unfortunately but really looking forward to the game

Can't get to the stadium to collect my tickets so spent 40 mins on hold to the box office this morning. Still no answer. Absolute joke.
