Seems strange to give Wood 9 - would have thought he’d be 7 when we have 2 other hookers. 7 remains vacant

no complaints. Im proud wood has got 9, worked his socks last 2 seasons.
I think no number 7 is Hastings choice, as quite a lot of kids bought shirts towards the end of the season with 31 on the back, and he is all for the fans.

Still say the RFL shots itself in the foot when they won't let a team register a number that would be excellent for marketing. Hastings #1066 would be inspired.

Let’s have it right, one man and his dog would care about that pun. So wouldn’t be worth the hassle. (I get it btw so no disrespect, I like it!)

Even if letting Salford give Hastings #1066 led to a little publicity it would be good.
As it is it can only be considered a missed opportunity.

Twitter is like having a direct connection with a victorian asylum. It seems to be full of people saying 'why Hastings not 7?' 'Why Sio not 5?' failing to understand that first teamers get to choose their numbers if available.

Twitter is like having a direct connection with a victorian asylum. What an insult to the patients in Bedlam! But this looks pretty good for a club with no readies

That list does throw up a tricky issue though, how do you crow bar in Lussick, Tomkins and Wood into the match day 17?
All to good not to be involved for me.

At the moment, easy. Two of them I injured.

No doubt Lussick could do the full 80 if needed.

No still niggling injuries from last season. Wood isn’t far off though.

Tomkins still off from last season.

With Walker and Lawton unavailable, and Tomkins and Chamberlain injured, that leaves us with 21 players available. Going to be tough without any more signings.
