He neglects to mention the vast amount of money that was given to him up front when he joined Salford. He took the p*ss out of Salford and Wakefield during his time in SuperLeague. It's a sad fall from grace for a player who had the World at his feet.
In saying that, the part where he says he was given 8 injections and forced to play when he was unfit is quite a concern. It sounds like Iestyn's hands were tied and he was forced to play him.
Whether any of it is true or not is hard to tell. In this interview, Locke has either got a very bad cold or he's been on the Colombian marching powder again. Or both.

He has no credibility anymore. Whether any of it is true is hard to say as he isn't the most reliable person in the world. What we do know is that his money claims were dismissed at tribunal, so that part of the interview lacks credible facts. It makes the rest of what he says questionable.
Shame he can't seem to move on. He had bags of talent but a serious bout of bell-end always follows him around. His beloved Warriors couldn't get shut quick enough, liability at Salford, and sacked by Wakey for being drunk in a stolen car crash!
Sad really.

I thought myself it sounded like he'd overdone the disco dust but he might just need some Lemsip. Didn't it all come out at the time that the Doc advanced him some wages to pay of an old debt before he left NZ? (pretty sure I heard it was something to do with buying a very expensive motor) and that he conveniently forgot he needed to repay it. But I agree that the injections if only partly true is troubling, you'd hope that now Sheens is involved something like this wouldn't happen.

I wondered that, Gareth O'Brien perhaps, for Gods sake let's hope he isn't the next hissy fit.
Playing devils advocate I do wonder how much the Doc brings this type of thing upon himself, the way he has previously handled many things in public that would have been much better dealt with behind sober and closed doors.

I think a lot of the mistakes he made were done so because he didn't have Tim Sheens doing them for him. Sheens has obviously come in and taken over the duties of dealing with players, contracts, signings etc. That's why we've not had any bother with this sort of thing since he came on board.

And further proof that giving it up now would be a waste of all that he has invested so far.
I've just been watching the Footy show and it struck me that there is a similarity between Salford and the Titans, relatively small crowds, very little success and just turning things round from less than stellar stewardship. Graham Annesley the CEO of the Titans said that the signing of Hayne has shown a marketed increase in ticket sales as has a year of steady progress with no off field drama. Still say that starting SL next season with a recognisable name as a Marquee signing would do wonders if there is no brain farts from the Doc between now and the season start.

What Locke says is true but he is also missing out a hell of a lot of facts as well. He needs to move on, stop playing the victim and get himself back on the field. Such a waste of great talent.

True about the injections and Harris being forced to play him? I'm assuming that was against Castleford at home last season.
As I said previously I'd be shocked if Sheens would allow anything like to happen now though.
