Evening ladies and gents.
Nearly that time of year ago that I look like a sad loony sat in my local working scores and results out on paper while getting more and more pished.
Basically simple question, do you want any changes to the format?
We will need to work out the end of season scenario after the end of the top 8 doo dat.
Any suggestions?

Same format for me. Possibly extra points if you predict a win via Golden Point?

Same format for me. Possibly extra points if you predict a win via Golden Point? Top idea that, needs to be a proviso if you predict a HP win and it doesn't happen you loose 5 points, otherwise you cheating swines will just say each game will be a GP win 😂 |

I don't see the need to deduct points for a wrong GP winner if everyone can only pick one game per week as their GP game. Just trying to save you some work!

So no other suggestions on how to accommodate the GP scenario?
Obviously if there is an option to indicate a GP win you must predict an 80 minute draw and then I guess the option of picking which team will then win with GP, or for that matter there is a GP winner at all not just a draw because no extra point is scored.
Christ this is complicated, the seasons not started and I already need a pint.

For me, I'd just keep it the same - like you say its just making life more complicated.
Having just one season doing the ESPL though, I think the people who have been in it longer should have the final say.
I just cant wait for it all to kick off again!

I prefer non consecutive unmarked bills but I'll settle for some bottles of Belgium beers.

I think the simplest way is to use the final score after golden point. So a draw will no longer be an available prediction. If you go for Salford by 6 and it’s a draw at full time and Salford score a converted try in extra tone then you get full marks and so on. I’d that too dull??

Unless I misunderstood but there can still be a draw if there are no points scored in ET.

I think mr is making a rod for his own back with all this golden point malarkey. Just go with the result at the end of the game, be that after 80 minutes or 80 + extra time. After all, a win is a win is a win!
